On Wednesday 26 October, the Matric Art Exhibition was opened by Peter Ducasse.  He commented on the excellent and varied pieces of art on display and congratulated the Art Department for the tremendous work they had achieved in getting the boys to this level of work. There are fine pieces of work on display and parents are encouraged to pop into the entrance of the Theatre where the exhibition is currently on display.

It is a wonderful accolade for our school to have had so many of our boys being selected for the KZN Inland Team for the SA Schools tournament in December. Hilton College has the most provincial representatives of all the Inland schools. Congratulations to the following boys on their selection:

U15:  Michael Booth, Michael Frost, Chris Meyer, Suubi Mugerwa-Sekawabe and Joshua Watt

U17:  Brandon McMullen, Gareth Schreuder and Michael Sclanders

U19:  Eathan Bosch, Gavin Morris, Pravir Valloo, James Ritchie and Kamogelo Selane

This is a wonderful achievement and we are very proud of our boys.

Our choir attended the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir Concert yesterday afternoon. They thoroughly enjoyed it and a highlight was when the old boys joined the Drakensberg Boys' Choir for the last item on the programme.  The evening concluded with our talented choir entertaining the guests at the dinner venue with two songs.
